RE: Your Rig
This was last March on US 101 in the Califorina Redwoods. Our 1st trip with the '06 250, V-10, 4:10 gears, SC Lariat.4x4. Enjoying the heck out of a '02 27' Terry Dakota. We moved up from a '03 Coleman Niagria
Put on 5000 miles through Ore., Calif., Az, Nev.back to Calif to the ", Mother Load"country, on to Napa wine country. Did not turn on the wipers until we hit the Ore . boarder at Brookings. Had a great time . Over all mileage was 9 mpg
LCD tv's
I want to install a LCD TV in our 5ver. Going to use a articulating wall mount. My concern is ,does the vibrations , bumps and bangs while traveling down the road damage these type of tvs?
Thank you Ron
RE: F350 V10 4:30 gears
Just returned from a 5000 mile trip. In avery comfortable '06 F250, SC,4x4,4:10gears, Oh yes with the V-10, Auto trans. Towing a 27' Terry Dakota. I believe about a combined weight close to 13500#. Went to Ore., Calif., Az.,Nev., Set the cruise control at 58-62 mph. depending on conditions and got from 7.3 to 10.5 mpg. Over all got 9.1.mpg Had all the power that was needed , could have driven at 75mph like some of the nuts out there , but it would not been near as much fun.
RE: tank level systems
Thanks, as a retired electrician, I thought about the variable resistance of the liquids in those tanks, this is something that I did have to deal with a time or two when I was trying to put bread on the table, but not now . USE THE dump station!!!
Thanks ,, Ron
tank level systems
Hello, have some problems with the holding tank level systems. The gray seems to be OK , the Black shows 1/3 even thou its empty. And the fresh water does not have any induction at all . No lights ,no nothing. And the battery seems to be correct.
Any heads up would be appreciated.
The system is on a 2002 Terry Dakota 5ver. ,, Thanks Ron
RE: Mice in the fith-wheel
Just remember any place a mouse can get in , a rattlesnake can get through the same opening. It might need a little help getting off the ground. But they are quit inventive

Hello, I would like some input on buying new tires for a 5ver that we are about to buy. Its a 2002 Terry Dakota has factory tires on it . They look ok , but feel they need replacing at 5 plus yrs. Fact is I will put on new before I pull it home , 160 miles.
What I need is advice on brand , made in the USA?, the size is ST205/75/R14 . What load rating, c or d/ Thank you Ron
